These are the actual failure modes we see. Each has a specific fix — don't just retry blindly.
You tried to verify 3+ times within a few minutes. WhatsApp locks that number out for 24 hours regardless of whether it's a real SIM.
Cancel the current number on VirtualSMS (get a full refund). Grab a different country's number. Wait 10+ minutes before retrying with the new one. Don't keep hitting resend — it makes the lockout longer.
