Why it happens

Why it happens

The fix
For basic KakaoTalk messaging — chatting, voice calls, open chats — this check does not apply. If you specifically need Kakao Pay or Kakao Bank, you require a Korean resident registration number (RRN). Account gets suspended within hours of creation
Why it happens
Kakao's spam-detection flagged the account — common triggers: sending too many messages to strangers immediately, joining multiple open chats within minutes of signup, or having an empty profile at the time of flagged activity.
The fix
New KakaoTalk accounts need warm-up: set a profile name and photo first, then add 1-2 existing Kakao contacts before interacting broadly. Wait 24 hours before joining open chats or messaging people outside your contact list. This is KakaoTalk's behavior policy — unrelated to the virtual number.

Why it happens

Why it happens
