What's the difference between a VoIP number and a real SIM verification number?
A VoIP number is a cloud-hosted line (Google Voice, TextNow, Twilio-style) with no physical SIM behind it. A real SIM verification number runs on an actual carrier SIM card on a mobile network (e.g. Vodafone, O2, T-Mobile), so it looks identical to a regular phone to the service checking it.
Why do my codes fail on other "virtual number" services?
Most verification services detect the carrier prefix behind a number. VoIP prefixes are well known and get rejected outright by WhatsApp, Telegram, Google, and most crypto exchanges during signup. Real carrier SIMs don't carry that flag.
